This course aims at guiding students from different semesters through a deep process of practice where they are going to enhance some of the topics previously covered and at the same time they are going to develop the four skills. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to take mock tests in order to prepare themselves for the proficiency test (PET) to be taken at the end of the course.

 

At the end of this course students will be able to: 

·         Understand extended speech and lectures and follow even complex lines of argument provided the topic is reasonable familiar.

·         Read articles and reports concerned with contemporary problems in which the writers adopt particular attitudes or viewpoints.

·         Interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that make regular interactions with native speakers quite possible.

·         Present clear, detailed descriptions on a wide range of subjects related to my field of interest.

           Write clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects related to my interests. 

Tasks will be the main tool applied to carry out the leaning process. Every single activity will be developed considering the language functions you as students have to develop during this level.

·         Future Continuous and Future Perfect

·         Conditional Sentences 1, 2, 3 

·         Passive Voice (present, past and future)

           Reported Speech 

·         PET Practice
