This course has been designed to give future language teachers more specific teaching skills in the fields of syllabus design, lesson planning, classroom management and class interaction. The prior course focused on the main theoretical frame of TESOL, and this course will include more practical issues regarding practicum such as how to handle classes, how to foster interaction in large classes, how to make the most out of the available materials and how to address discipline in real-life courses such as those they face in practicum. Some practical activities connected with the pedagogical practicum will be proposed as part of this course.
